Come and join us on 10thFebruary 2019 for a day exploring and enjoying the National Instrument of Wales at the beautiful venue Insole Court in Cardiff,
10.30am to 4.30pm for workships for harpists
5pm –6pm for a concert for all
Harpists: £20. Full access to all workshops and concert.

For audiences:
Come along and hear the brillaint Diego Laverde Rojas, originally from Bogotá in Colombia, playing on the ‘Llanera’ (low land) Harp. You can listen to Diego here: https://soundcloud.com/diegolaverderojas You will also hear from Cardiff based Shelley Fairplay on Concert Pedal and Electric Lever Harp and her community ensemble Dynamic Harps will perform alongside the attendees from the day courses. For harpists: Your day ticket includes a morning workshops with Shelley Fairplay and afternoon workshops with Diego Laverde Rojas, then the opportunity to perform in the group as part of concert at 5pm and of course to watch the other performances. You will need to bring your own harp to this harp event, the good news is there are no steps to get in! In Colombia, he taught in various music academies and was director of the Folkloric Lowland’s group of the Central University of Bogotá. He has toured the world as a musician with the Ballet Folklorico Colombiano. Since coming to the United Kingdom, he has been involved in different festivals as a performer and teacher around England, Scotland, Wales and Europe. Shelley Fairplay:
